I've lost nearly 30kgs and four dress sizes in the process and have gained a ton of energy and some wonderful new friends
I started training with MSHF in February '09, initially as part of the '10 for 10 Challenge'. With a baby and toddler under my wing, I had over time let myself go, had no energy and was considered obese. Life was about to change significantly.
The enthusiasm of Marc and his team quickly motivated me and before I knew it I was participating in group, quad and personal training sessions. Through my training I have learnt about the importance of making exercise part of my daily routine. The team at MSHF encouraged me to make small , achievable goals and as I progressed through each one I started to notice great results, both physically and mentally.
In my first training session I couldn't run for 1 minute without stopping but after 8 months of lots of sweat (and tears!) I've just completed the 10km Melbourne Marathon race....without stopping! I've lost nearly 30kgs and four dress sizes in the process and have gained a ton of energy and some wonderful new friends.
